Kisilu is an inspirational and experienced speaker who has shared his story as a farmer and climate activist at a number of international events, among them COP23, TEDGlobal, and the EAT Forum. 

Kisilu’s experiences with climate change is an alarm to everyone, but most importantly it is a story of hope, climate leadership, grassroots organising and climate resilience from a charismatic farmer and activist. THE FILM

Five years ago Kisilu, a Kenyan farmer, started to use his camera to capture the life of his family, his village and the damages of climate change. When a violent storm throws him and a Norwegian filmmaker together we see him transform from father, to community leader to activist on the global stage.

Thank You For The Rain tells an inspiring and intimate story of hope on the frontline of climate change. Feedback from organizers suggests that Kisilu's story can be a powerful tool for engaging people, politicians and business leaders in the fight for climate justice.
